NME Awards

In the world of blogging this already very old news but it's an easy blog so...

Comparing this year's award show to last, it didn't seem half as lively. Think everybody is FAR too cool to show any image that their happy to receive their award or even that they're there. That said no one seemed arrogant or what I prefer to call 'Doing a Donney Tourette'.

Though a couple of stories, Alexa Chung apparently was very ill during the awards bless her. And Kelly Osbourne was able to keep her families end up when it comes to swearing.

  • Best TV Show - The Mighty Boosh
  • Best Radio Show - Zane Lowe (BBC Radio 1)
  • Best Film - Control
  • Sexiest Woman - Kylie Minogue
  • Sexiest Man - Noel Fielding
  • Worst Album - Britney Spears - Blackout
  • Worst Band - The Hoosiers
  • Best Dressed - Noel Fielding
  • Worst Dressed - Amy Winehouse
  • Hero of the year - Pete Doherty
  • Villain of the Year - George W. Bush

All in all was a bit of a disappointment the NME's along with the Britt's are the few award shows where you expect a bit of madness.
