Neimo

Best post something about actual music once in a while rather than rants. If you find yourself with a little spare time (or a little spare cash) check out Neimo, their still pretty much unknown but if your open to new music might as well give it a go.

Setting a Good Example

You don't have to look far to find examples of so called bad role models in music, sure the first examples that come to mind are either Pete Doherty or Amy Winehouse, for the most part you'll hear more about their personal lives rather than their music in almost every paper or magazine around, but why would The Sun want to review shotters nation anyway? You can't blame them for covering what they feel people want to read.

But should people in the public eye really have to hold up the classic clean cut image that our parents want to us to see? Surely in a country where over a third have taking drugs at least once in their life time and 10% of these in the last year, why should these few be expected to give off this image to a nation that clearly doesn't have a problem with recreational drugs?

It's more of a case of the tabloids trying to tell us that we should be applauding by their actions than the public really caring about what they do in their spare time. If you like Babyshambles I don't think there's much chance you turning your nose at the news he's been done for possession again (Not that I don't wish him all the best)
